Introduction
Okay, so just what is immersion learning?
Input

The biggest misconception in the language learning world is that, in order to engage with high-level content, you need to reach a solid foundation of comprehension first. The truth is this reverses the order of cause and effect. You achieve a higher level of comprehension precisely by engaging with language you don't understand yet.
The primary activity you'll be doing with our method is getting input. What does that mean? It means reading and listening to your target language. A lot.
We know this works because of the excellent research done by linguists like Stephen Krashen.
In this video he provides an excellent demonstration of what comprehensible looks like. The best kind of input is comprehensible. You may not understand every word and nuance, but you've given your brain enough information to start decoding the patterns. Given enough time you will develop a very high level of comprehension. And at this point, it's a matter of input over time.
With this information you now understand everything you need in order to acquire language.
